That’s exactly what may well be
happening, if one takes a look at the poster above (that was publicly showcased
by HAL during the DEFEXPO 2012 expo last April in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan), which
clearly shows the unarmed version of the Predator UAS along with the Searcher
Mk2 and Heron-1 UAS. And since none of the three armed services of India are
known to be operating the Predator, then the only other possible operator is
the Aviation Research Centre of the Union Cabinet Secretariat’s Research &
Analysis Wing (R & AW).
